PKM Design Group, Inc.

PKM Design Group, Inc.  managed a team of consultants to renovate the park shelter, restroom, two playgrounds and basketball court.  In addition, PKM provided construction management on a fast-track schedule. 

Tasks included native landscape restoration, wetland delineation/inventory, and evaluation of environmental impacts. Areas were identified for future restoration and enhancements including potential noxious weed management, wetland mitigation and education locations.  PKM prepared a field review and summary report on wetland conditions throughout the more than three mile project area including an analysis of potential environmental education, recreational trails, and wetland development within the corridor.

PKM Design Group, Inc. was responsible for the implementation of several park improvements for this Denver Parks project, including lake edge enhancements, restoration of a historic lake wall, development of a seat wall which would also aid in stormwater detention, pedestrian promenade renovation, irrigation and landscape design, wetland plantings and plaza designs.
